The Leasing Agent position at Mountain States Property Management works with potential renters to view and contract our various properties. This position requires an elevated level of communication and interaction with future and current residents of our properties. The Leasing Agent greatly impacts the success of our business and is vital to our team. Duties & Responsibilities: Duties & Responsibilities: Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new systems Provide complete property tours to prospective tenants Knowledgeable in move-in and move-out procedures Effectively schedule and manage tours, move-ins, and move-outs Demonstrate phone etiquette and professional call handling Navigate property management software, including Entrata Complete and process lease applications Generate, send, and track lease documents for approved applicants Create clear, professional, and complete work orders Conduct background checks for applicants Understand and follow proper legal procedures, including serving notices (e.g. 3-day pay or vacate) Conduct market surveys and shop comparable properties Resolve resident complaints independently, without escalation Knowledge and understanding of Fair Housing laws and compliance standards This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-encompassing and may be subject to change to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
