The ideal candidate will be proactive, willing to go the extra mile, and have a strong passion for sales and deal-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, or relevant experience in shopping center leasing (preferred but not required).
  • Ideally, 3+ years of experience in shopping center leasing, including lease negotiations and a strong network of industry relationships.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent priority setting, decisiveness, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment at our headquarters in the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles, Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Lease available space within the Cafaro portfolio, managing leasing efforts for assigned properties.
  • Independently manage the leasing process from prospecting to lease execution.
  • Proactively canvass markets to attract new national, regional, and local retailers and restaurants.
  • Prepares analysis for new developments, redevelopment and tenant specific opportunities. Guides and oversee preparation of project proposals, proformas, budgets, feasibility analyses, including determination of time and funding requirements
  • Build and cultivate relationships to source new business, both nationally and within the trade areas of Cafaro’s shopping centers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Implement creative, non-traditional strategies that add value to existing assets.
