About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is actively hiring a Leasing Consultant to support The Berkley Apartments , a 252-unit community in West Little Rock . This is a high-impact role where your energy, personality, and ability to close leases directly drive success. We’re looking for someone who can step in immediately , take ownership of traffic, and help maximize occupancy. You are the face of a busy, value-driven community offering 1–2 bedroom apartment homes with strong amenities and steady traffic. The Berkley is a well-established, high-traffic community offering: 1 & 2-bedroom apartment homes Fitness center, pool, dog park, and resident amenities Competitive pricing and strong leasing demand Convenient West Little Rock location near major employers and retail This is a hands-on leasing environment — perfect for someone who thrives on activity and results. Requirements

  • 6+ months of leasing, sales, or customer service experience
  • Strong closing skills — you know how to ask for the lease
  • High energy and comfort working in a fast-paced setting
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
  • Strong communication skills (in-person, phone, email)
  • Ability to work Mon - Fri from 9AM - 6PM + 3 Saturdays per Month from 10AM - 4PM w/Day Off During the Week

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Fair Housing (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage prospects with confidence and urgency
  • Conduct tours and close leases on the spot
  • Manage applications, approvals, and move-ins
  • Prepare leases and maintain compliant documentation
  • Maintain resident files in Yardi (or similar systems)
  • Ensure model units and show apartments are always tour-ready
  • Monitor market comps and pricing trends
  • Execute marketing efforts (Craigslist, outreach, local networking)
  • Build relationships with current residents to drive renewals
