About The Position

Leasing Assistant – Full Time Do you have the passion for developing and supporting strong relationships? If so, we are looking for you as our Leasing Assistant. As the Leasing Assistant you will have frontline contact with residents and staff. The Leasing Assistant provides administrative support to the Community Administrator at an independent living, apartment community for seniors and residents with disabilities. The assistant coordinates activities to provide efficient operation of the property and management office. When looking at what the Leasing Assistant has in store for you, there is ongoing administrative support, combined with consistent communication and excellent customer service while interacting with senior residents and their family members that are sure to keep you challenged. Here’s an idea of what you’ll be doing as Leasing Assistant: Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, schedule appointments and play an active role in organizing and prioritizing required activities in a professional and expedient manner. Assist with property reports and gather required data. Maintain consistent, positive relationships with senior residents and residents with disabilities. Interact easily with a diversity of housing prospects and their family members Establish and maintain relationships with current residents Assist in collection of late rent and other monies due Assist with move-in move-out procedures and assist in lease renewal process Assist with follow-up calls, maintenance requests and assist with bank deposits Develop and maintain customer relationships Assist in development and placement of advertising Greet drop-ins and respond to inquiries Present property and apartments in a manner consistent with the image of property and relevant to prospect

Requirements

  • Excellent computer skills with willingness and capability to learn new programs.
  • Demonstrate integrity on personal as well as professional levels.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and community.
  • Strong customer service and Excellent proven written and spoken communication skills
  • Competent user of all MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED and 1year of Leasing experience.
