About The Position

USA MULTIFAMILY MANAGEMENT, INC. is engaged in the management of residential multifamily communities. We develop, build, own and manage our properties. Our properties are located throughout California and Nevada and range in size from 52 units to 397 units. We specialize in Tax Credit; Section 42 properties (LIHTC – Low Income Housing Tax Credit). USA Multifamily Management is a subsidiary of USA Properties Fund, Inc., a full-service, fully diversified, privately owned real estate investment and development organization. We are seeking a Leasing Agent for our 308 Unit Senior Community, Vintage Chateau, located in Petaluma, CA. The Leasing Agent will report to the Community Manager. This is a non-exempt position, with a full-time work schedule. Must accommodate the need to work overtime and weekends as needed. JOB SUMMARY: The Leasing Agent is the property’s sales representative whose primary duties are to greet prospective residents and present the features and benefits of our apartment community in a professional and courteous manner. Additionally, the Leasing Agent is responsible for securing lease agreements from qualified applicants. USA Multifamily Management, Inc. Leasing Agents are service oriented and make residents and prospective residents feel welcome and comfortable. We offer a competitive salary of $22 - $23 an hour, depending on experience. In addition, we also have a comprehensive benefit program which includes medical, dental, life insurance, PAID time off and a 401(k) plan with a generous employer matching contribution. Requirements

  • Leasing experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Availability to work weekends when needed
  • Experience in Tax Credit; Section 42 leasing paperwork (LIHTC – Low Income Housing Tax Credit)
  • Knowledge of local market conditions and trends
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Computer experience; Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
