About The Position

This position is for a full-time Leasing Agent I/COS to work at Summer Park, a 248-unit affordable family housing community in Fresno, CA. This is a Section 8 and Tax Credit property. Qualified candidates will have 1+ year of related apartment leasing experience and knowledge of affordable housing. Tax credit and/or project-based Section 8 preferred. COS certification preferred. Salary range: $17.85 to $27.20 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $17.85 to $22.53 per hour, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role. The Leasing Agent is also responsible for providing resident relations services.

Requirements

  • 1+ Year of Related Apartment Leasing Experience/COS experience
  • MS Office knowledge and Intermediate Skills
  • Knowledge of Affordable Housing

Nice To Haves

  • Tax credit and/or project-based Section 8 preferred.
  • COS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in Developing and implementing marketing plan and creation of advertisements
  • Provides Property Tours, Shows Model Unit
  • Logs all Traffic, completes Follow-up, Processes Rental Application and Prepares Lease
  • Collects Deposit, Conducts Unit Inspection
  • Conducts Market Survey of Competition
  • Participates in Property Inspections, Move in/Move out, Aids Residents with move out process
  • Participates in re-certification process
