About The Position

We’re looking for a Learning Operations Specialist to help run Nexthink’s talent programs as we scale. This role sits at the intersection of HR systems, operations, and employee experience - ensuring our learning programs have real impact and are designed to help Nexthinkers grow and perform at their best, In this role, you’ll have clear ownership over the day-to-day operation of our learning ecosystem - supporting our LMS, keeping core programs running smoothly, and ensuring learning experiences are well-coordinated and easy to engage with. You’ll work closely across teams to support new employee onboarding, mentorship and training initiatives, while using insight and feedback to continuously improve how learning shows up across the company. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building structure in a growing environment, partnering across teams, and improving systems and programs over time. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking for broad exposure across talent initiatives and to help shape how learning supports a global organization at scale. This role reports to the Head of Talent Success and is based in Boston.

Requirements

  • Min of 2 years of experience in learning operations, enablement, or L&D-related roles.
  • Hands-on experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Strong operational mindset - organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning processes end to end.
  • Comfortable being employee-facing, especially with new hires and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience creating learning content across e-learning, virtual, and in-person formats.
  • Experience coordinating programs, trainings, or events with multiple stakeholders.
  • Clear, practical communication skills.
  • Interest in learning more about automation and emerging tools (including AI) and applying them over time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday Learning.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
  • Exposure to LMS or HRIS implementations or migrations.
  • Experience using Articulate or similar e-learning authoring tools.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, or procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with learning reporting or analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Support the rollout and day-to-day use of Workday Learning, partnering with HRIS to manage courses, learning paths, assignments, and reporting.
  • Own the ongoing operation of learning programs within the LMS, ensuring accurate tracking, communication, and a strong employee experience.
  • Own Nexthink’s monthly onboarding learning series, including: Coordinating executive welcome sessions Scheduling, tracking attendance, and follow-ups Supporting new hires and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
  • Oversee Nexthink’s mentorship program, including coordination, communications, tracking, and ongoing improvements.
  • Coordinate logistics and communication for in-person leadership workshops, including venues, materials, and participant communications.
  • Manage and monitor the learning and development budget, reviewing and approving expenses to ensure alignment with internal policies.
  • Support compliance and mandatory training, including content creation, assignment, completion tracking, and reporting.
  • Create and maintain learning content for a global audience across multiple formats: E-learning and self-paced content Virtual instructor-led sessions In-person trainings and workshops
  • Support system and process improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce manual effort over time.
