About The Position

Collaborates with the LMS Administrator of Learning Management System (LMS) on a variety of projects along with support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources for Learning Management System (LMS). Supports the LMS Administrator of Learning Management System (LMS) in day-to-day content coordination and front-end LMS user support activities. Maintains SOPs and end-user documentation in alignment with approved guidelines. Assists in LMS-related projects focused on content support, learner-facing workflows, and manual user processing. Participates as a supporting member in the LMS training administrator working group. Helps facilitate logistics, communication, and follow-up items; co-presents with Manager/LMS Admin when appropriate. Monitors industry trends and vendor updates; shares relevant observations with LMS Admin team for further evaluation. Assists in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by executing test cases and logging issues under direction of LMS Administrator or Manager. Coordinates logistics for LMS-related learning events, such as Symposia, Partnership CME credit entry, and super user trainings. Helps create and maintain end-user support guides for roles such as learner, manager, and roster manager — under Admin review. Collaborates with LMS Admin to ensure external user uploads, course completions, and reporting tasks are executed as assigned. Supports third-party integrations (e.g., Cvent, LinkedIn Learning) by ensuring correct usage and flagging issues; does not configure integrations. Consults with content developers and instructional designers for online content and support instructor-led delivery and logistics. Develops and supports user training for Learning Management System (LMS) super users/training administers; identify and provide other education, tools, and tips for all end users. Troubleshoot and educate all end users with Learning Management System and content authoring tool questions, concerns, and issues. Supports issue triage and helps monitor the ticketing system for LMS Level 1–2 tickets; escalates to LMS Admin or Manager as needed. Consults with content developers and instructional designers for online content and support instructor-led delivery and logistics. Develops and supports user training for Learning Management System (LMS) super users/training administers; identify and provide other education, tools, and tips for all end users. Troubleshoot and educate all end users with Learning Management System and content authoring tool questions, concerns, and issues. Supports issue triage and helps monitor the ticketing system for LMS Level 1–2 tickets; escalates to LMS Admin or Manager as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or related field required.
  • Minimum one year in Learning Management System (LMS) administration and/or computer support in e-learning required.
  • Familiar or ability to learn ticketing system.
  • Familiar or ability to learn content authoring tool preferably Captivate and/or Articulate.
  • Familiar or ability to learn HTML (Hypertext Markup Language).
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and interact effectively with clients and vendors.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and varying priorities under conditions requiring speed and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle detailed work accurately and quickly, work towards deadlines on multiple projects, work as a team member in a collaborative and participatory manner and interact both in person and over the phone with a courteous and professional demeanor.

  • Knowledge of the processes, standards and accepted best practices relating to the development, maintenance, and administration of the Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online education.
  • Ability to evaluate data, research, design and communication skills required to develop and execute implantation plans.
  • Ability to resolve issues for physicians, staff members and other departments by identifying issue/problem, determining best course of action and coordinating with appropriate parties to facilitate resolution, includes follow-up to ensure satisfactory conclusion.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments and Learning Management System (LMS) roles on various time sensitive projects, requests, and implantations inside the Learning Management System (LMS). Responsible for prioritizing projects, meeting deadlines and presenting best value for project budget allotment.
  • Knowledge of effective methodologies for instructional design of online learning.
  • Knowledge of the concepts, standards and methods for quality assurance testing and maintaining the LMS and other integrated systems (Cvent and Zoom).
  • Ability to keep abreast of new/current Learning Management Systems (LMS), common/emerging best practices in the online education field.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and apply your knowledge of Vituity Learning Management Systems (LMS) to resolve end user questions and issues.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to varying groups and sizes.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility, cooperation and participate in cross-organizational performance improvement activities.
  • Ability to understand and apply information management principles, data analysis interpretation and continuous quality improvement tools/methodologies for the Learning Manage System (LMS) and content authoring tool.
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
  • Ability to express ideas and convey information effectively in verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to evaluate and convey information in legible reports to Learning Management Systems (LMS) Manager.
  • Intermediate MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint skills.
  • Strong consultation skills and the ability to seek out information and provide quality advice.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SumTotal Learning Management System (LMS) preferred.
  • Experience with the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with a multi-state company preferred.
