The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) serves as a knowledgeable and creative resource to business school faculty in their design and development of innovative, learner-centric courses. They are proficient in the integration of pedagogically informed course design strategies and educational technology to develop engaging learning experiences delivered across a variety of modalities. The LXD consults with faculty and/or subject matter experts as a trusted advisor and skilled course developer to ideate, plan, design, and develop course content that fosters deep thinking, connection and promotes active learning. The Learning Experience Designer is well-versed in designing for accessibility, in addition to visual design, instructional multimedia production, and the construction of course content within a learning management system (LMS). Additionally, they possess expert knowledge on pedagogical approaches and best practices in higher education for course delivery in a business school context while showcasing competency in the judicious use of educational technology, proven project management skills, along with the ability to assess and assure course quality. The Learning Experience Designer can both lead a project and collaborate with other team members to support faculty in the development of exceptional learning opportunities for our students. Note: This is a one-year contract position with a potential for extension.
