About The Position

The Learning & Development Specialist I is a training role focused on field-based and remote training delivery. This position supports onboarding, field readiness, and continued learning for Navigators and operational staff. The role requires frequent travel to support in-person training and coaching.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, Associate or bachelor’s preferred.
  • Experience in training, facilitation, or onboarding preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Northern California residence required
  • Strong facilitation skills (virtual and in-person).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and virtual training tools.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Salesforce mobile, Ring Central, and Guardian MPS
  • Comfortable working in the field and coaching staff.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Patient with employees who are not tech-savvy
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment
  • Models MedZed values through respectful communication, ethical decision-making, and integrity in all interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Provide field-based coaching and real-time feedback.
  • Support onboarding through structured training pathways.
  • Deliver remote training and shadowing experiences.
  • Maintain training assignments and completion tracking.
  • Identify training gaps and improvement opportunities.
