Since then, we have expanded our services to children and adolescents with severe emotional disorders across Middle and East Tennessee. The Learning and Development Lead, Enrollment and Therapy is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance staff competencies and support professional growth within the Enrollment and Therapy departments. This role collaborates with leadership to assess learning needs, develop educational initiatives, and ensure training aligns with best practices, regulatory requirements, and MHC’s mission. The Learning and Development Lead will oversee training operations, drive continuous learning, and support operational excellence.

  • Training Program Development & Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance staff competencies in enrollment processes and therapy services. Ensure all training programs align with evidence-based practices, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
  • Learning Needs Assessment & Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to assess training needs and develop targeted learning strategies. Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through performance metrics and feedback mechanisms.
  • Operational Management & Compliance: Oversee the administration and delivery of training programs, including orientation, continuing education, and specialized skill development. Ensure training content meets accreditation standards, regulatory compliance, and organizational policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with the Director of Clinical Services, enrollment teams, and therapy professionals to align training efforts with operational goals. Lead training sessions, workshops, and competency evaluations to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Performance Improvement & Innovation: Monitor and analyze training outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and curriculum enhancement. Implement innovative learning methodologies, including digital platforms and simulation-based training.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate training policies, safety regulations, and best practices in therapy and enrollment services.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in nursing education.

  • Master’s degree in social work or counseling required.
  • Active Tennessee licensure preferred (LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in training, education, enrollment, therapy services, or related healthcare roles.
  • Strong knowledge of enrollment operations, therapy services, and adult learning principles.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs in a behavioral health environment; healthcare experience also preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of clinical operations, healthcare quality metrics, and performance improvement.
  • Experience in behavioral health or mental health settings is required.
  • Proven ability to analyze healthcare data, identify trends, and implement performance improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
