About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Learning and Development Consultant within Human Resources Talent Management and Learning team. This role will partner with business leaders in Consumer Banking and Lending teams to assess skill gaps and deliver targeted learning solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. The Consultant applies a practical, enterprise‑focused approach to needs assessment, coaching, and solution delivery for both individual contributors and managers. This role also collaborates closely with instructional design partners to develop relevant curricula, exercises sound judgment when navigating operational and compliance requirements, and contributes to continuous process improvements within their scope of responsibility. In this role, you will: Support learners in applying adult‑learning concepts and new skills and gather feedback to measure outcomes and drive continuous improvement. Provide consulting, coaching, and learning delivery to individual contributors and managers across technical, functional, product, and competency‑based skills. Diagnose capability needs, recommend aligned learning solutions, and explain how development programs connect to broader business impact. Manage individual‑contributor–level consulting, facilitation, and project execution, ensuring timelines, coordination, documentation, and communication are maintained. Review and analyze operational assignments requiring research, evaluation, and independent judgment to guide medium‑risk deliverables and identify process improvement opportunities. Partner with instructional design teams to develop curricula, courses, and materials informed by needs assessments, learner feedback, business priorities, and stakeholder input. Collaborate with colleagues, HR partners, business leaders, and internal/external stakeholders to communicate needs and manage expectations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Learning and Development Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Demonstrated expertise across the full learning lifecycle, including consulting, analysis, design, development, facilitation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of financial services (preferably Consumer Banking and Lending) and experience managing multiple projects through planning, execution, and follow‑up.
  • Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Skilled in delivering recommendations on complex issues, presenting to all leadership levels, and creating persuasive presentations that drive decisions and progress
