The Learning Design and Development Lead drives evidence-based learning experiences that accelerate employee growth and organizational capability at Roblox. Reporting to the Senior Director of People Experience and Learning, this role combines strategic learning design grounded in research with expert facilitation, supporting both individual development and team performance across our rapidly scaling organization. The ideal candidate is both practitioner and scholar - someone who can facilitate an engaging leadership workshop in the morning, then rigorously evaluate its effectiveness using learning science principles in the afternoon. You don't just know what works; you know why it works based on research, and can articulate the evidence behind your design decisions. You're equally comfortable citing studies on psychological safety as you are debating a room of leaders, building learner personas or designing multi-method program evaluations. You'll work independently with support from Learning and Coaching Partners and close collaboration with People Science and People Business Partners across the organization.
