Requirements

  • Must be detail orientated, have strong organizational skills, and the to prioritize work tasks.
  • Desire to self educate and learn new skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and calculation skills.
  • Must have experience in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • QAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities.
  • Administer Continuous Improvement projects through the use of Wave system, Norplas’ Winning Teams System, and Mafact Cockpit.
  • Work closely with CI project leads to develop business cases.
  • Maintain status spreadsheets, generate reports and provide updates as necessary for management regarding status of CI projects.
  • Generate reports and provide updates as necessary for management regarding MAFACT (Manga’s operating system) and lean manufacturing systems: MAFACT action log, MAFACT assessment evidence files, Lean Thinker System, etc.
  • Plan, design, and order rewards for Winning Teams and Lean Thinker programs.
  • Assist in writing and maintenance of Standard Work documents.
  • Coordinate training activities.
  • Perform clerical duties such as meeting agendas & minutes, memos, reports, and presentations.
  • Track and maintain appropriate inventory levels of 5S supplies and coordinate the reordering of necessary supplies.
  • Order materials for the lean team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information and data transacted in the daily performance of your job responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
