About The Position

As part of the Learning & Development team, the Leadership Development Solutions Specialist will gather content and implement, facilitate, measure, and evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions created to meet the leadership development needs of first-level supervisors, managers, and senior leaders as well as solutions that will fill skill gaps for all employees across the organization. Conduct needs analysis and translate business needs into high-impact learning that builds leadership and management capability Analyze leadership assessment data to identify and prioritize gaps Partner with Instructional Designers and L&D Leadership to implement leadership and high-potential programs that result in positive behavior change for participants in leadership competencies Implement and deliver training for a broad array of development solutions such as assessment centers, action learning programs, custom education programs, New Employee Orientation, and off-the-shelf training programs Gather and assemble unique training content elements to accomplish a learning objective Facilitate, measure, and evaluate the effectiveness of training, education, and experiential learning programs Respond to training requests from various business units and leadership levels to address competency gaps and/or regulatory requirements Partner with vendors to support leadership and talent management strategies Function as in-house expert to provide coaching and consultative support to internal departmental personnel regarding training, development, and performance improvement solutions Participate in the evaluation of ROI/business impact of all leadership development and talent management solutions Create and analyze metrics to determine the impact of leadership development initiatives, and strength of JEA's leader population Champion various continuous improvement initiatives, simultaneously, utilizing proactive change management best practices within the organization Perform other job-related work as assigned

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field
  • Five (5) years' experience in corporate training and adult education with a focus on leadership development and management coaching
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training
