As part of the manufacturing team, this role is crucial in creating kitchen and bath products. The individual will work hands-on with products, from raw materials to shipping, ensuring proper assembly and manufacturing for a consistently strong customer experience. Adherence to all safety protocols is essential for safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
  • 10+ years previous experience as a Field/Plant or Quality Manager or applicable experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of SAP, Excel, Salesforce, Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and plumbing systems.
  • Must be a hands on individual who is innovative, adaptable, driven and collaborative.
  • Fluent English required, bilingual Spanish a plus.
  • Up to 50% travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive Warranty (COPQ) reduction projects following quality methodologies to engage top COPQ items to impact P&L/Warranty goals.
  • Perform thorough root cause analysis on product quality issues and field failures to implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Work alongside the team to conduct regular product inspections at distributors and major jobsites.
  • Ensure that all product defects and damages; destroy defective product or return to manufacturing plant for evaluation.
  • Direct contact with manufacturing, engineering and design personnel regarding product problems.
  • Provide individual evaluation of our field inspection team and provide training as required.
  • Provide technical expertise/training for Sales and Consumer Connections and distributor personnel.
  • Oversee the investigation of product problems on jobs of significant volume or complexity and recommend corrective measures.
  • Perform special investigations, audits and surveys on product as directed in support of the Product Warranty Allowance program.
  • Participate in conducting field tests, surveys, call backs, and inspections of product involved in insurance and legal claims.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (COPQ) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.
  • Keep current with developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality.
  • Review and action on monthly reports concerning field data relating COPQ, product trends, SLA’s, metrics, improvement projects, etc.
  • Negotiate labor dollars/concerns that are fair and amicable for all parties.
  • Direct product inspection at our Distribution Centers (Groveport, Grand Prairie and Hutchins,), quality holds and rework projects in the most efficient manner and timely manner.
