Position Summary This lead will be the involved in making sure assembly is running well. They also will perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of all equipment in the plant, and they will operate and maintain plant equipment in accordance with standard work and building procedures. Responsibilities Lead, facilitate, and be an active member and supporter of High-Performance Teams (HPT) Advocate and take active role in Lean and other continuous improvement projects with the ability to write standard work Must be capable of following and meeting standard work requirements Promote the culture of engagement and empowerment by coaching and mentoring team members Must be able to use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, printing tooling layouts, obtaining prints and specifications, printing ship-sets, etc. Promote positive teamwork Able to foster professionalism with all associates along with internal and external customers Be capable of training in precautions, quality requirements, preventative maintenance, and production practices and procedures. Qualifications High School diploma or GED, additional preferred A minimum of 6 months in current role Previous manufacturing experience Good math, reading and writing skills Sound decision making skills Basic computer skills Able to read blueprints and drawings Able to lift 30 lbs.
