About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive hands-on Lead, Warehouse Selection to support day-to-day outbound fulfillment activities, including order selection, packing, staging, and shipment preparation. The Lead will serve as a key point of contact on the warehouse floor, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting team productivity, safety, and quality standards. This role partners closely with supervisors and warehouse associates to maintain smooth outbound operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, including at least 1 year in a lead or team support role.
  • Strong understanding of outbound logistics processes, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
  • Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (HighJump preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and reports using Excel and other tools.
  • Familiarity with labor management systems (LMS) and RF scanning technologies.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Forklift certification preferred (Reach Truck, Order Selector, Electric Pallet Jack, Counter-Balanced).
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality are expected.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on guidance and support across outbound functions including picking, packing, staging, and preparing shipments.
  • Verify outbound orders against pick tickets, work assignments, and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Help coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks based on daily shipment volume and timelines.
  • Assist in training new team members on standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Promote and maintain real-time inventory accuracy by supporting proper documentation and timely updates in the WMS.
  • Monitor the outbound area for process bottlenecks and escalate operational concerns or delays to the supervisor.
  • Inspect staged outbound goods for damage, accuracy, and compliance with order specifications.
  • Support a safe work environment by promoting proper equipment usage (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assist with routine outbound reporting and provide status updates to supervisors and managers as needed.
  • Participate in inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized outbound area at all times.
