We are seeking an experienced Lead Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to play a key leadership role within our clinical team. This position supports exceptional patient care while overseeing daily technician operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring clinical excellence.

Requirements

  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) — required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for mentoring and supporting team growth

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership or senior technician experience strongly preferred
  • Strong emergency/critical care experience preferred
  • Advanced anesthesia and monitoring skills
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform all Veterinary Technician duties at a high level:
  • Patient restraint and nursing care
  • Venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
  • Anesthesia induction and monitoring
  • Surgical assistance and dental procedures
  • Radiology and diagnostics
  • Medication preparation and administration
  • Serve as a clinical resource for technicians and assistants during appointments, procedures, and surgeries
  • Ensure compliance with medical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist veterinarians with complex cases and procedures
  • Support workflow and efficiency within the technician team
  • Mentor and guide technicians and assistants to maintain high clinical standards
  • Act as liaison between clinical staff and leadership
