As a Lead Teller within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Louisville, KY at the Portland Retail Branch. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive. The Lead Teller coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. This role involves processing a variety of customer interactions, educating customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions, and identifying banking opportunities to make appropriate referrals to branch staff. The Lead Teller also coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example in performing lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs. They educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources, and coach tellers on clear communication skills, transaction handling, and problem resolution processes. Additionally, the Lead Teller assists the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes, and ensures teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner, while adhering to all policies and procedures and demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.

Responsibilities

Coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
Processes a variety of customer interactions.
