As a Lead Teller within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Champaign, IL. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive. The Lead Teller coaches, mentors, and leads tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. This role involves processing various customer interactions, educating customers on financial alternatives, and identifying banking opportunities for referrals. The Lead Teller also guides tellers in lobby engagement activities, educating customers on technology for managing transactions, and in developing clear communication, transaction handling, and problem resolution skills. They assist the Branch Manager with performance management and new hire selection, and ensure daily teller and branch operations are efficient and accurate. PNC employees are expected to be customer-focused and skilled in managing risk.
