About The Position

As a Lead Technology Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the successful set-up, configuration, and ongoing support of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that the software aligns with our organizational needs and enhances our construction operations technology stack. This includes setting and configuring standards and coordinating with internal teams across the nation. This role is responsible for leading technology projects and improvement efforts, including testing new technology for implementation. Occasional travel to divisional offices will be required.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with technology deployment and change management indicating a history of successful implementation and support at an enterprise level.

  • Detailed knowledge of cloud-based construction project management tools.
  • Experience with construction operations workflows.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience leading technology initiatives and/or relevant construction project management or field experience

Responsibilities

  • Effectively build strong working relationships and communicate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, IT, and Divisional leadership, to ensure alignment on construction operations goals and strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison with technology vendors (e.g., Autodesk) to assist with timely support and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure technology standards are uniformly applied across projects, facilitating seamless integration of new technologies.
  • Engage with industry groups and trade organizations to stay informed on emerging technologies, trends, and standards that could be beneficial to Southland.
  • Work with division leadership, functional groups, and corporate teams to implement enterprise systems and develop divisional specific workflows where necessary.
  • Work closely with divisional technology teams, vendors, and business teams to configure settings, workflows, and features based on divisional requirements.
  • Assist with analysis of current construction processes and workflows to identify areas where technology can reduce inefficiencies, improve accuracy, and increase productivity.
  • Support the end-to-end implementation of construction operations technology initiatives across Southland.
  • Support the deployment and utilization of technologies such as: Autodesk Construction Cloud, including Automations and integrations to ACC.
  • Help ensure all construction operations technology processes are integrated seamlessly into ongoing projects, from initial setup to final documentation and turnover.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, evaluate their feasibility, and assist pilot programs to test potential new tools and systems.
  • Provide ongoing support to project teams, troubleshooting issues and ensuring that all technology functions optimally throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all construction operations technologies, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and best practices.
  • Develop training materials and participate in workshops or training sessions to keep teams updated on the latest technology tools and workflows.
  • Help monitor and document performance metrics for each deployed technology to assess its impact on project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Engage divisional stakeholders early in the process to communicate the benefits of new technologies and address potential concerns.
  • Work with established feedback loops to gather insights from operations staff and other users to continuously improve technology adoption and refine processes.
  • Assist with the development and deployment of training programs to ensure team members are proficient in using new tools and systems, offering both in-person and remote learning options.
  • Ensure operations technology standards are consistent across the divisions, in accordance with enterprise standards.
  • Assist with the roll-out of construction operations technology solutions to support the company's national footprint, across multiple sites and regions.
  • Work with AEC leadership and other regional stakeholders to prioritize feedback/priorities across Southland.
