Within the strategy and operations team in Tech, we believe that giving technologists access to high-quality resources, relevant learning opportunities, and clear examples of what good looks like is critical to activating strategy at scale. When those resources are grounded in the needs of technologists, they become genuinely useful and enable teams to deliver with speed and confidence. As a Lead Tech Operations Program Manager, you will: Partner with peers to influence the evolution and effective use of internal and third-party learning platforms and tools, ensuring they support real technical workflows and adoption needs Partner with tech priority owners to design and drive adoption plans that change how engineers and data scientists work day to day and represent the Tech persona with enterprise priority owners, ensuring adoption practices meet the needs of the Tech team. Translate Target’s tech strategy into real, sustained change in how engineers and data scientists work. This role shapes approaches early, activates them through execution, and ensures adoption sticks by designing for how technologists learn, work, and evolve. Build and maintain strong working knowledge of modern engineering, data science, UX, product, and AI practices relevant to Target Tech and identify industry experts, practitioners, and partners to engage in targeted learning sessions, demos, and forums. Actively participate in technical cross-functional teams and working groups to stay close to practitioner needs, and translate those discussions into updated onboarding materials, targeted training, and adoption resources that support agreed-upon practices and ways of working across Target Tech. Help define and evolve role expectations for engineers, data scientists, tech practitioners, in a mature, AI-first operating environment. Contribute domain insight to shared career architecture, skills frameworks, and role expectations that reflect how work is changing. Partner with senior technical leaders and HR to help define the workforce of the future, specifically what strong performance looks like in human and agent collaboration and modern delivery models, and help shape the ways of working for Tech. Partner with enterprise, product, and UX teams to shape learning and adoption experiences grounded in real technical needs and practitioner reality. Help surface, cofidy, and share emerging best practices by translating learnings from pilots, exemplars, and industry insight into reusable guidance and examples Stay current on industry trends, evolving tools, and best practices to inform workforce and adoption decisions. We'll support you along the way with onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong Lead Tech Operations Program Manager. The exciting part of retail?
