Wood is currently seeking a Subsea Controls Engineer to join its Technical Consulting sector focusing on supporting our clients with our strategic advisory, design and delivery. This opportunity is Onsite. Wood is currently searching for a Subsea Controls Engineer with 15-20 years' experience in subsea controls, specializing in software design and delivery, to work on various projects for the Subsea Controls group in the Houston, TX office. Their primary function is to ensure that the objectives of the Subsea Controls Group and its Customers are performed to an expected high standard and that specific work tasks are performed safely, effectively and in compliance with their specified objectives. The Subsea Controls Engineer shall be conversant in subsea production operations, control system design and software, manufacturing, testing and installation, and provide a technical focal point for the Customer, Subsea Contractor(s), Suppliers / Vendors and other internal departments. Our Technical Consulting & Decarbonization group combines consultancy solutions with technical expertise to support our client’s capital investment decisions across the global energy and materials markets.
