About The Position

As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you’ll take ownership of managing the purchasing process for a specific set of goods, ensuring that we meet both quality and budgetary goals. You’ll apply sourcing policies and act as the key liaison between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring alignment on specifications and fostering strong partnerships. With your expertise in best practices and a deep understanding of how your area integrates with other functions, you’ll help us stay ahead of the competition by identifying what sets us apart in the market and driving strategic sourcing decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Sourcing and/or Supply Chain).
• Minimum of 3 years of Sourcing and/or Supply Chain experience.
• This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

• Place and follow-up on POs.
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
• Manage problems and schedule changes.
• Update ERP.
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
• Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
• Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
• Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems.
• Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis.
• Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
• Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
