Position Summary The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for designing business solutions for key strategic initiatives, focusing on modern event-driven architectures with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies, contemporary system designs, and emerging AI and agentic technologies. In this role, you will collaborate across multiple teams to design comprehensive solution architectures that integrate various components, including business applications, data, infrastructure, platform, and security. Your efforts will involve working closely with teams from Digital, Data and Analytics, IT, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security to foster a culture of problem-solving and innovation. This position also involves providing leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to application development teams while developing reference architectures for cloud-native applications and new architectural frameworks that integrate emerging AI and agentic technologies. These architectures will play a key role in developing new capabilities as well as enhancing and optimizing existing systems. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who actively engages with the team to address technical challenges and remove roadblocks. This position is open to multiple CVS locations for hybrid or fully remote anywhere in the USA.
