The F-Series Domestic Customer Account Management team plays a critical role in supporting the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and ensuring the success of the Captains of Industry (COI) contract. This team focuses on spare and repair parts procurement for the F-Series engine lines (F110, F101, F118), driving operational excellence and delivering high-quality solutions to meet program objectives and customer requirements. As the Customer Account Manager (CAM), you will oversee the management and execution of the COI contract, serving as the primary interface with the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This dynamic role combines technical execution, customer engagement, and strategic planning to drive program success. You will be responsible for processing order transactions, material management, coordinating site operations, and managing warehouse logistics and shipping to meet program objectives and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and drive program execution in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel.
  • Customer Focus: Experience engaging with government agencies and end users, with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated ability to address complex challenges and implement effective solutions across cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in forecasting, material management, and program optimization to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Oversee the execution of the Captains of Industry (COI) contract, ensuring compliance with program objectives and customer requirements.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary interface with DLA Richmond program focals, USAF, and FMS customers, representing GE Aerospace at PMR, Collaborative Forecasting (COFO) meetings, and other forums.
  • Material Forecasting: Facilitate short- and long-term forecasting across a complex Bill of Materials (BOM) to meet program targets and ensure order-to-remittance (OTR) flow.
  • Supplier Initiated Ordering (SIO): Proactively manage the SIO program, ensuring material is pushed to meet demand and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to program incentives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of contingent workers to support program execution and drive operational excellence.
  • Problem Solving: Address cross-functional challenges such as ERP system issues, supply chain constraints, and logistics delays while maintaining high standards of quality, timeliness, and volume.
  • Data Optimization: Leverage multiple data sources and systems, including Excel and Oracle ERP, to optimize forecasting and program management.
