About The Position

The Lead Salesforce Administrator will own, co-architect, and deliver the Salesforce platform at Skilled US. You will set the technical vision, design scalable data models and automations, and lead the end-to-end delivery of enhancements that power enrollment, case management, employer engagement, and reporting. You’ll run discovery with stakeholders, translate needs into elegant Salesforce solutions, execute and ship (build, test, deploy), and drive adoption through clear documentation and training.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years hands-on as a Salesforce Administrator owning build (or co-build) and delivery (Flows, Reports/Dashboards, Data Loader, user/security management).
  • Proven experience designing data/automation architectures and integrating adjacent tools (FormAssembly, Mogli/SMS, MCAE/Pardot, DocuSign, Canvas or similar LMS).
  • Strong requirements gathering, systems thinking, and crisp documentation skills.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate technical solutions for non-technical teams and lead change.
  • Understanding of Non-Profit usage and viewpoints for CRM systems based on grant compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Administrator (and/or Business Analyst) certification; additional certs a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps Center, SOQL/Workbench, and basic API concepts.
  • Background in education/workforce development or student-service workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Set the Salesforce roadmap and prioritize an enhancement backlog aligned to program and operations goals.
  • Run discovery workshops; define requirements, success criteria, and measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and vendors; own status, risks, and communications.
  • Design data models, security, and sharing architecture (roles, profiles, permission sets, record types).
  • Define standards for naming, validation, automation patterns, and metadata governance.
  • Plan integration patterns (APIs/middleware, auth/SSO) across tools such as FormAssembly, Mogli/SMS, MCAE/Pardot, DocuSign, and Canvas.
  • Configure apps, page layouts, queues, and experience-ready workflows.
  • Build automation with Flows (record-triggered/scheduled), validation rules, quick actions, and approval processes.
  • Create high-value reports and dashboards for leadership and program teams.
  • Manage data quality (imports/exports, deduplication, field hygiene) and document SOPs.
  • Own release management: sandboxes, DevOps Center/change sets, UAT, and post-release stabilization.
  • Provide tier-2 support and resolve issues quickly; measure adoption and iterate.
  • Deliver role-based training, office hours, and short how-to guides/looms.
  • Coach power users and champions; gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
