About The Position

Our Retirement team combines expertise in retirement and investment consulting to support global organizations worldwide in designing, managing, administering, and communicating all types of retirement plans. Whether a client has a defined benefit pension or a defined contribution plan, we work with them to determine the right approach to design, funding, investing, governing, and employee engagement that fits their specific goals. Through the use of leading-edge tools and research as well as sophisticated thinking, our team can build tailored solutions for clients that balance retirement program risks and costs with plan objectives and opportunities. The Role As a Lead Retirement Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for developing new business, leading and delivering large, strategic client engagements and serving as strategic advisor to clients and colleagues. You’ll also be asked to contribute your thought leadership to the overall development of the Retirement Line of Business and cross line of business development opportunities.

  • Growing Retirement revenue on significant client and prospect opportunities
  • Cross-selling new projects and services to current Retirement clients
  • Maximizing the penetration of key accounts
  • Serving as the lead Retirement strategist/subject matter expert on large client cases
  • Leading client relationships from a Retirement perspective
  • Establishing a trusted advisor role with clients and provide consistent, superior relationship management
  • Identifying and proactively acting upon opportunities to cross sell projects and services to current clients
  • Leading and managing multiple large Retirement consulting client engagements
  • Providing strategic direction for client engagements across a broad range of retirement opportunities / initiatives
  • Building leveraged teams that work effectively together
  • Developing plans for execution of large, global engagements
  • Finalizing and presenting quality deliverables to clients
  • Demonstrating extensive leadership ability by mentoring and developing other consultants
  • Building relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Overseeing actuaries and other financial experts in the delivery of value-added models, projections and analytics
  • Serving as senior strategist and ensure clients are regularly informed about the implications and opportunities that changing laws and regulations have related to their retirement plans
  • Performing consulting review of work products and drive excellence in client delivery
  • Contributing to the development of new tools, IC and approaches to Retirement plan strategy and management
