About The Position

BizzyCar is looking for a Lead Recruiter & People Operations professional to join our growing team in St. Louis. This is a hybrid role, with four days per week in the office and one days remote, offering a balance of collaboration and flexibility. This role is approximately 80% recruiting and 20% HR/people operations. You’ll own the full-cycle recruiting process across the company—sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closing candidates—while also supporting key HR functions like onboarding, employee experience, and people systems administration. You’ll be a critical hire as we scale, helping us build the team that builds the product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth environment
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and strong sourcing skills across multiple channels
  • Experience working in Rippling (ATS/HRIS) is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Lattice or similar performance management platforms
  • Exposure to broader HR/people operations functions such as onboarding, compliance, or employee engagement
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you know how to sell an opportunity and build relationships
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort using recruiting metrics to inform decisions
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to take on new challenges as the company grows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive or dealership-adjacent industries is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process from intake to offer, partnering with hiring managers across all departments
  • Build and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referral programs, and creative outreach to attract top talent
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (Rippling) to ensure a clean, organized, and data-driven hiring pipeline
  • Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and provide a best-in-class candidate experience at every touchpoint
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, and source effectiveness
  • Help build and refine BizzyCar’s employer brand and careers presence to attract high-caliber candidates
  • Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and develop proactive talent pipelines for critical roles
  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth and engaging first-week experience
  • Administer and maintain people systems including Rippling (HRIS) and Lattice (performance management)
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, performance review cycles, and culture-building programs
  • Help maintain HR documentation, policies, and compliance requirements
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, policies, and people programs
  • Support offboarding processes and maintain accurate employee records
