Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying

Responsibilities

  • Guide and oversee the production team’s diverse activities, such as operating machinery, managing production lines, processing materials, packaging products, and organizing inventory.
  • Maintain rigorous compliance with safety protocols and uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee quality control by managing policies, processes, and procedures and address any issues with purchased materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods
  • Inspire and lead employees to enhance productivity and achieve set production targets.
  • Cultivate a collaborative team atmosphere; promote open dialogue and teamwork.
  • Establish and communicate clear team objectives; ensure goals are understood and pursued by the team.
  • Partner with supervisor to ensure assigned tasks are completed.
  • Collaborate with production supervisor to manage daily operations; track team performance, report on key metrics, and resolve problems swiftly.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department to confirm that all equipment is operational and meets performance standards.
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.
