CGI is seeking a Lead Product Strategist, Insurance Rating & Pricing to shape the future of our industry-leading rating solution, Ratabase. This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on defining product vision, guiding modernization, and ensuring our offering remains best-in-class in an evolving insurance landscape. You will bring deep carrier-side expertise to challenge conventional thinking, identify innovation opportunities, and help build the next generation of rating capabilities. This role is ideal for a seasoned insurance professional who understands the complexities of rating ecosystems and thrives at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and product leadership. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and client stakeholders while serving as a trusted advisor both internally and externally.

Requirements

12–15+ years of experience within an insurance carrier focused on rating and pricing
Deep expertise in rating engines, rate tables, pricing algorithms, and product configuration
Strong understanding of upstream and downstream system integrations within insurance ecosystems
Proven ability to translate business needs into product strategy and roadmap execution
Experience working with major rating platforms such as Earnix, Guidewire, or Duck Creek
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and technical teams
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting insurance pricing and rating
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across product, business, and technology teams

Experience leading or contributing to a large-scale rating modernization or pricing transformation initiative
Background in actuarial science, underwriting, or insurance product management
Experience shaping go-to-market strategies for insurance technology solutions

Responsibilities

Define and drive the long-term product vision and roadmap for CGI’s Ratabase solution
Serve as the strategic advisor, incorporating carrier-side insights and competitive intelligence into product evolution
Act as the domain authority on rating methodologies, pricing strategies, and regulatory requirements
Translate complex business and regulatory needs into scalable product capabilities for development teams
Partner with engineering and product teams to modernize and enhance rating platform architecture
Enable client success by advising insurers on rating transformation and modernization strategies
Represent CGI in executive-level client engagements, articulating the strategic value of Ratabase
Establish thought leadership in the insurance pricing domain to strengthen CGI’s market position
