About The Position

Lead Procurement Project Specialist for Honeywell International, Inc. (Charlotte, NC) RESPONSIBILITES: Lead and manage projects from initiation, to completion, ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and timeline. Develop and execute Transformation Projects aligned with functional STRAP, focusing on AI/Machine Learning and advanced analytics to drive quantifiable margin improvement or cost savings. Partner with other Procurement Project Management teams to develop projects from established Breaking Barriers and AI Pipeline channels. Act as team lead for Procurement Process Standardization and Honeywell's Global Design Model (GDM) approach. Identify Priority GDMs not yet created and develop roadmap to complete. Ensure all projects have clearly defined A3s, with Problem Statements, Current & Future State, Key Metrics, Deliverables & detailed project plans with milestones. Establish Key Stakeholder list / Org Chart by Project. Ensure business processes are standardized sufficiently to be translated into effective solutions. Identify and support deployment of new systems globally by partnering with the procurement, IT, and functional leadership. Ensure common implementation and configuration of solutions are being deployed by designated external IT partners. Effective change management for all technology-related change initiatives. Identify, direct, and manage system enhancements that enable automation. Ability to work in a matrix environment and effectively communicate at all levels in the organization. Able to deal with ambiguity, and uncertainty while operating in a multi-cultural, global environment. YOU MUST HAVE: Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience with Project Management within Procurement, Engineering, Analytics, or other ISC functional Stakeholder teams. Must have 2 years of experience with the following: proven track record of Leading challenging projects cross-functionally, ideally partnering with engineering, IT &/or ISC analytics; Project Management skills with experience creating detailed Project Plans and Managing plans from initiation through completion; proven ability to establish processes and drive continuous improvements; experience deploying technology solutions with knowledge of Procurement systems; experience in Procurement Processes, Category Management and/or Preferred Supplier Lists (PSLs); experience developing and driving standard processes/tools across a diverse environment; creation and implementation of effective process MOS; Lean Expert or Green Belt with strong understanding and experience with using Six Sigma / Lean tools; demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process/solution design, change management, testing, and deployments. Telecommuting permitted up to two times per week. Employer will accept pre-Bachelor's experience. Requirements
