About The Position

Mission Montessori School is seeking a Lead Primary Teacher to join their team. Educators at Mission Montessori are supported with resources to create a positive learning environment and are offered education incentives and career development programs to help them thrive. As a Lead Montessori Teacher, the role involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum based on Montessori pedagogy, planning engaging activities for cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assessing and documenting student progress.

Requirements

Lead Teacher Montessori Training and Certificate
2-5 Years of Experience required/preferred
12 ECE Units and College degree
Experience working with children ages 3-6
Willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
Ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
