Montessori Lead Teacher
About The Position
As a Lead Teacher, you are responsible for the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards. You will develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, and effectively communicate with families. The role involves completing ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics. You will also implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences, with assistance from a Director, School Education Manager, Team Lead, or faculty mentor. Requirements
- at least 18
- Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field
- Completed a high school diploma or equivalent
- Met state requirements for education
Nice To Haves
- previous lead teacher experience preferred
- bachelor’s degree and coursework in early childhood education preferred
