About The Position
2's Lead Preschool Teacher Pay: $25-$35/hour based on education and qualifications Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-1pm (full-time) Location: Upper East Side Manhattan NY Kids Club & NY Preschool is inspiring today’s children to succeed in tomorrow’s world with our love for play— and we’re looking for a Private 2's Lead Preschool Teacher to join our growing team as we grow our programs in the Winter/Spring Semester! Requirements
- Have a High School Diploma with 5+ years of Preschool Lead Teaching experience OR
- Are actively studying towards an Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master's Degree in early childhood education or related field with at least 9 credits OR
- Have a BA or MA in ECE or related field and New York State Early Childhood Certification in B-2 or 1-6.
- Hold 2+ years of lead teaching experience in an early childhood classroom or Pre-k or Kindergarten (required)
- Are a lifelong learner!
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching a class of 2 year olds strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through adherence to our daily protocols
- Lead preschool and enrichment classes by using our unique, creative and original curriculum to bring learning to life!
- Support each student in their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth by learning through play in a positive and caring way
- Engage daily with parents and caregivers, sharing your classroom’s day-to-day activities and developmental milestones
