About The Position

The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle is seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Lead Teacher to join our passionate team of early childhood educators. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) required.
Minimum 1 year of preschool teaching experience in a licensed childcare or school setting.
Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet all NYC DOHMH childcare licensing requirements for Group Teacher.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a preschool classroom focused on school readiness and social-emotional development.
Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum to promote literacy, STEM, and cognitive growth.
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children.
Partner with families to communicate progress, milestones, and learning goals.
Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.
