About The Position

Join our team as a Lead Practice Partner , where you'll spearhead quality improvements in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) across the State. By providing visionary leadership and expert guidance, you’ll drive excellence in teaching and learning, ensuring national standards are not just met but exceeded. Lead the way in empowering our Practice Team to support and uplift quality practices and be at the forefront of delivering the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework with unmatched expertise. Your Impact: In this vital role, you’ll:

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-year Early Childhood qualification from a recognised university
  • A tested track record of teaching and learning practice uplift delivery
  • Experience in working at a “State" or national level in practice uplift
  • Extensive practice-based early childhood education experience (aged birth to 8 years).
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State based approved/recognised learning guidelines and the National Quality Standard
  • Experience of leading a team and being a team member
  • Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
  • Current SA Working with Children Check

Responsibilities

  • Lead practice uplift across the state to strengthen teaching, learning and inclusion
  • Analyse centre practice data and guide Quality Improvement Plan actions
  • Partner with State Managers to coordinate targeted support for centres
  • Lead and coach the Practice Partner team to deliver consistent, high-quality practice support
  • Spend time in centres to validate practice, support priority sites, and uplift quality ratings
  • Champion implementation of QRS, NQS and EYLF frameworks
  • Shape and enhance the national Teaching, Learning & Support expert service
  • Contribute to improvements in the Practice & Inclusion Helpdesk
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure practice support meets evolving needs of children and families
