We are seeking a passionate Lead Payroll Specialist to mentor and support the payroll team onsite at our location in Raleigh, NC. Your Role in Our Mission As a Lead Payroll Specialist on the team, your days will be filled with meaningful work! From conducting detailed reviews of timesheets, audits and reports to guiding and training supervisors, managers, and payroll staff. This Lead will also perform complex payroll transactions and partner with the Payroll Manager to evaluate processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency. This is a hybrid position in our beautiful headquarters in Raleigh, NC, working 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week. We also offer a full benefits package for benefits-eligible positions. Requirements

  • High school diploma or Ged required.
  • 3-5 years of recent, progressive payroll experience
  • Advanced level of Excel knowledge and experience with the ability to train others
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred.
