Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level IV stroke center; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Experience posting payments and charge entry
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinic or healthcare setting

Responsibilities

The Lead Patient Service Representative is the internal and external first point of contact in response to patient and clinic issues.
Coordinates the day-to-day operations at the front desk.
Oversees patient flow to ensure patient wait times are minimized.
Acts as the point of contact for patient complaints and assists in resolving the issue in collaboration with the clinic manager.
The Lead Patient Service Representative assures that the delivery of high quality, cost efficient care that support the UT Health primary care model.
