About The Position

Join us as our new Lead Operator in Encapsulation The Production Lead will lead their assigned team to perform all production-related activities while aligning with the company's Mission, Vision, and Core Values. This position works from 2:30pm-12:30am, Monday-Thursday In this role you'll make an impact by: Overseeing team training, development, and timely completion of training requirements. Accurately completing and reviewing production records with the team. Supporting continuous improvement and attend meetings, sharing relevant information with the team. Performing all job duties safely using required PPE and serve as a safety role model. Reporting and addressing unsafe behaviors or equipment to maintain a safe work environment. Leading and guiding the team to ensure efficient production and adherence to quality, GMP, and Food Safety standards. Ensuring compliance with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and SOPs. Maintaining cleanliness, housekeeping, and 5S in the work area.

Requirements

  • The appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are achievable through the following combination of education, work experience and training.
  • High School Diploma along with 1 + year of relevant work experience in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing facility.
  • Be able to work within established routines, methods, and procedures under very strict management parameters.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player in a diverse work group.
  • Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as required.
