About The Position
LG Resources is now hiring an Encapsulation Operator : The Encapsulation Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining encapsulation equipment used in the production of nutraceutical products. This role ensures safe, efficient production while complying with company standards, cGMP, and FDA regulations. Shift: 2pm-11:30pm M-Thursday Training will be on day shift 6am-4:30pm, then they will switch to the swing shift with a pay differential of $20/hr
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- English speaking
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor encapsulation machines according to batch records and SOPs
- Perform in-process quality checks (capsule weight, integrity, appearance)
- Assist with equipment changeovers to minimize downtime
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas per GMP and safety standards
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions
- Accurately complete batch records, logbooks, and cleaning documentation
- Follow all company policies, cGMP/FDA regulations, and internal SOPs
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Assist in training new operators
- Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean work area
