Johns Hopkins Interventional Neuroradiology team aims to offer the best minimally invasive treatment and diagnostic imaging for adults and children with a wide rage of conditions involving the brain, the head and neck region, and the spine and spinal cord. Our endovascular and interventional specialists use state-of-the-art minimally invasive image-guided techniques to deliver therapeutic agents through the skin (without the need for open surgery), allowing for shorter hospital stays, faster recovery, and decreased procedure risks. We also specialize in diagnostic cerebral and head and neck angiography and spinal angiography. Johns Hopkins is searching for a full time Lead Neuro Interventional Radiology Tech to join their elite Endovascular and Interventional team. As a Lead IR Tech, you will be working alongside highly skilled staff to perform invasive procedures, coordinate care in an assigned room, and provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Work requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.
  • Three (3) years of experience in interventional proceedures or attending an advaced imaging program.
  • ARRT certified with current registration
  • Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain supplies needed and identify cost saving supplies/ideas
  • Record documentation which includes billing forms, stent forms, etc
  • Provide leadership to staff (problem solving, delegation, etc)
  • Oversee daily operations
