Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, providing patient services, and performing radiographic procedures, including all aspects of fluoroscopic and digital imaging data acquisition and processing. Scrubs in to assist with catheter and guide wire manipulation and assists with providing optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population (ages 0 to death).

Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) radiography program
  • Certification/Licensure Requirements: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology at time of hire.
  • Must obtain Vascular Interventional (VI) Radiography certification within two years of hire (if not certified at time of hire) and maintain VI certification thereafter
  • West: Current license issued by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRTB)
