What you’ll do: As a Lead Network Technology Engineer, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions and delivering network applications, services, or solutions in purpose-built, cloud-based, or hybrid environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability through detailed analysis and engineering models. An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership. Understand evolving Mobility & Wireline architectures. Interpret business requirements, perform network modeling, and plan cost-effective technology solutions. Define subsystem interfaces, develop test plans, and assess vendor solutions. Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: Network Design and Architecture: Develop detailed network designs, plan and evaluate new technologies and enhancements, ensure scalability and efficiency, and recommend network architecture and strategy. Implementation and Configuration: Deploy network infrastructure, develop test and implementation plans for hardware/software solutions, integrate new components, and lead design rollout to partner organizations. Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for application to network systems. Collaboration and Coordination: Work with stakeholders and domain teams, manage vendor relationships, provide architectural expertise, and guide cross-functional teams. Project Management: Manage network projects, set priorities, prepare cost/benefit analyses, and use modeling and planning methodologies to develop strategic roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years’ of related experience
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Sciences or Operations preferred.
