About The Position

Position Overview: We’re seeking an exceptional Lead Network Engineer that will lead and oversee corporate networking operations across our globally distributed organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role managing a small team of 1-2 network engineers while remaining deeply involved in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of our corporate network infrastructure. About Center of Excellence: Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to the Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals. Your Impact: Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of corporate network infrastructure across multiple global office locations (India, US, The Philippines) Foster a culture of customer service excellence, accountability, and continuous learning to delight our end users Manage and mentor a team of 1-2 network engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development Oversee office network stacks including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and related infrastructure Troubleshoot complex network issues remotely across geographically distributed sites Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and best practices Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and technology refresh cycles Collaborate with Corporate IT, Information Security, Product Infrastructure, and application teams on cross-functional initiatives Manage vendor relationships for network hardware, software, and support services Monitor network performance and implement optimization strategies Drive network architecture decisions that support business growth and security requirements What You Bring: 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments Strong expertise with enterprise networking technologies: switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN Experience with major network vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Meraki, or similar) Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot networks remotely across multiple sites 1-2 years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical team members Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences Experience supporting global, distributed workforce environments Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) Experience with network monitoring and management tools Excellent communication skills Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and contractual negotiations Customer service orientation with commitment to exceptional user experiences Data-driven decision making with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across diverse global teams Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, dynamic environments Background or familiarity with healthcare compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2) and security frameworks Experience implementing AI/ML solutions for IT service management Previous experience in merger and acquisition projects a plus HealthEdge commits to building an environment and culture that supports the diverse representation of our teams. Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise with enterprise networking technologies: switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN
  • Experience with major network vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Meraki, or similar)
  • Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot networks remotely across multiple sites
  • 1-2 years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical team members
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
