About The Position

Lead training and provide ongoing support for onboarding new employees and delivering continuous guidance across ten primary care clinics to ensure adherence to organizational standards and success in their roles. Providing technical support to Medical Assistant staff in a clinic site or physician module to include training, assurance of consistency and standardization of procedures. Management of day-to-day staff coverage arrangements to ensure excellent patient care, staff performance management, and to serve as a mentor to staff. Covering multiple positions and departments. Mentoring new and existing staff on clinical processes and procedures. Responsible for review of new and existing staff documentation and charge documents for completion and accuracy. Practice within the scope of a Medical Assistant and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care, performing as a staff MA as needed.

Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant or Military Corpsman, plus two years applicable clinical experience.
  • Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
  • Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.
  • Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or Military Corpsman program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical setting.
