About The Position

Summary: Assists with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the building and campus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Install and replace insulation on pipes, ducts, tanks, and other mechanical systems using appropriate materials and methods. Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials accurately to meet job specifications. Secure insulation with adhesives, mechanical fasteners, or jacketing multiple material types. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and project specifications. Lead, direct, and motivate insulation crews to ensure timely and accurate project completion. Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail. Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Notifies managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

10+ years of similar experience required.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification required.
Knowledge of state/local building codes.
Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license may be required.
