About The Position

This role is a strategic and analytical leadership position responsible for driving advanced marketing analytics initiatives that directly inform business strategy and decision-making. The Lead Marketing Business Analyst partners with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Digital Commerce, Merchandising, Product, Finance, and Customer Experience—to provide actionable insights, optimize campaigns, and improve ROI. This position requires translating complex data into clear recommendations, designing scalable measurement frameworks, and mentoring junior analysts to foster a culture of analytical excellence. You will leverage predictive modeling, experimentation, and visualization tools to guide strategy, while enabling teams to make data-driven decisions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing analytics experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead role (10+ years preferred for senior candidates).
  • Proven expertise in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, machine learning, and experimentation in a marketing context.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for data manipulation, modeling, and automation.
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.
  • Working knowledge of site analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics).
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms, data governance standards, and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop predictive models, perform statistical analyses, and apply machine learning to optimize marketing targeting, personalization, and budget allocation.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to measure marketing impact and isolate performance drivers.
  • Collaborate with BI developers to build automated dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools for stakeholders.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into strategic recommendations for marketing leadership and executive teams.
  • Establish standardized measurement frameworks, attribution models, and methodologies to optimize media and campaign strategies.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and knowledge sharing to other analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence.
  • Stay current on emerging marketing analytics tools, technologies, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
