About The Position
Maintenance is essential to ensuring a smoothly running hotel and delivering a great guest experience. The lead maintenance ensures all equipment is operational, conducts repairs, and performs preventive maintenance tasks to maintain guest comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical skills, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, or push items weighing up to 100-300 pounds.
- Physical agility: frequent standing, moving, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crawling.
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors.
- Organizational skills to manage maintenance tasks effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete minor repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks as per the hotel's schedule.
- Ensure operational readiness of assigned equipment daily.
- Monitor and maintain efficiency of equipment and electrical systems.
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms as needed.
- Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/ supervisor.
